THE STORY SO FAR - THE LEGEND OF HAWKSMOOR
Sophia Leigh was presumed dead following Lara's encounter with her on the rooftop of her headquaters. Her body missing, following the implosion Lara herself had witnessed.

With Willard, or what was left of him terminated in Artarctica, Lara spent the weeks following increasingly pre-occupied with matters concerning Sophia Leigh and the Eye of Isis. She had good cause...

The papers continued to report a spate of disappearances in London? Sophia Leigh's cosmetics arm, Eyesis, launched a new advertising campaign for their latest 'forever young' facial serum and Eyesis' umbrella organisation, SLINC reported record profits.

Adding to intrigue, the Eye of Isis was in Lara's possession, yet alongside the other meterorite artifacts, this one appeared inert and dull compared to the rest. As if the energy it possessed continued to be drawn away. Lara recalled how the artifacts were harnessed in different ways. The Infada Stone embedded in Tony's chest, Element 115 harnessed by alien technology within a spaceship chamber, The Ora Dagger, harnessed by the tribal leader Puna and his enchanted mask. Sophia Leigh meanwhile, possessed a staff, which once belonged to the famed Nicholas Hawksmoor. It is unknown how this came to be in her possession, however, Hawksmoor's many churches built across London were said to be centre points of magic and dark energy. Perhaps Sophia Leigh, or what was left of her, lived on through the walls of these buildings? Perhaps the staff held answers?

With so many questions, Lara decided to investigate and seek out the Staff of Hawksmoor and learn more about it's origins. Sophia Leigh's headquarters remained an abandoned crime scene. The police had yet to connect Ms Leigh to the disappearances and existance of the subterranean survivors of Ms Leigh's experiments, The Damned.

Lara made her way into Eyesis HQ, as day was breaking, on a typically rainy day in London. Slipping past security, she unravelled the secret held within the headquarters. Finally, she landed upon Sophia's private library and archives. There, sat atop a staircase, a large, antiquated, open book and a map directing Lara to St Saviour's Wharf. A supposed entry point to a lost river beneath London that led in turn to a crypt Hawksmoor designed himself. In that moment, Lara was ambushed mercenaries. Lara had no way of escaping the way she arrived, the only way out was down to Lud's Gate. After an eventful return journey to the surface, Lara found Sophia's boat docked away and headed towards St Saviour's Wharf...
